Ethereum Price Prediction: Early Breakout Signals a Stronger Recovery

Ethereum is showing early breakout signs while holding inside a multiyear accumulation structure. Analysts see $5,000 and $6,941 as key targets, with $12,000 possible if $ETH clears its major resistance levels.

Ethereum’s Largest Accumulation Could Target $12,000

Ethereum remains inside what analyst Javon Marks describes as its largest accumulation phase on record. The long-term structure resembles $ETH’s previous consolidation cycles, which ended with major breakouts and strong rallies.

The chart shows Ethereum testing the lower boundary of a broad ascending channel that has developed since 2022. Holding this support could keep the accumulation structure intact and create the foundation for another move toward the channel’s upper boundary.

Marks identifies $5,000, $8,500 and $12,000 as potential targets. However, $ETH must first reverse from the lower trendline and reclaim several resistance levels before the higher targets become realistic. A sustained breakdown below the channel would weaken the bullish comparison with previous cycles.

Ethereum Breakout Opens Path Toward $6,941

Ethereum may be entering the early stage of a larger breakout after moving above the descending trendline that had capped its recovery. Analyst Donald Dean identifies $6,941.60 as the longer-term golden ratio target.

The immediate test sits around the $1,950–$2,150 volume shelf. Reclaiming this area could confirm the breakout and open the way toward the Fibonacci resistance levels at approximately $2,501, $2,970 and $3,349.

However, the $6,941 target remains conditional. $ETH would still need to clear resistance at $3,728, $4,108 and its previous high near $4,970 before the golden ratio extension becomes achievable. A move back below the broken trendline would weaken the setup.
